As a Christian living in Karamles, Isen and his family were forced to leave during the ISIS occupation. Isen returned home in 2017 with a determination to rebuild his beekeeping business. With support from the USAID-funded Shared Future project, Isen received training in entrepreneurship and valuable business skills.
